Netmind was where I wrote my first line of production code. It meant the completion of a two year project to transition my life and career.
Working for this small consultancy threw me straight into real client work. It was very fast paced, messy, and exactly what I needed. I will be forever grateful to my seniors during that time for helping me survive and learn during this period.
What I worked on
- Editorial web platform — Built and maintained a content-driven web application using Nuxt 2 connected to a Directus CMS backend. Handled dynamic routing, data fetching, and responsive layouts across the full site.
- CMS integration — Wired up Directus REST APIs to the frontend, designed reusable Vue components to render rich editorial content, and worked closely with the content team to shape the data model.
- Performance & SEO — Optimised SSR hydration, improved Lighthouse scores, and implemented meta tags and structured data for editorial pages.

What I took away
This was the role that taught me how to jump into new codebases, how and when to ask the right questions, and how much you can learn by shipping under pressure.
It taught me to collaborate with individuals remotely, how to be proactive and acknowledge when tasks were overwhelming so I could ask for help and guidance.
